Motivation verses Inspiration? Do you know the difference? And there’s a huge one. Each one has a totally different feel to them, when you even speak them. Why do New Years Resolutions never work? People are motivated, but not inspired. Motivation has a counter part that Inspiration does not. Thats, procrastination! More times than not, being motivated is not a pure intentions. There’s something edgy about your motivation that breeds procrastination. When you are inspired to do something, there is no room for procrastination, none. Why is that?

Get out of your own way!

Most of the time, it’s not so much the outside challenges that hold us back, but the internal ones. The fears, jealousies, prideful thoughts that fill our heads with dis illusions. When one is inspired to do something there is absence of fear and or pride, just gut felt emotions that know no boundaries, logic or reason. You see at the end of our life, chances are you will regret not what you have done, but more so of what you did not do. Oh sure, the motivation and desire may have been there through such, but procrastination ruled. Procrastinating to do anything is just doubt wrapped in fear. In the end you will look back and go, “really?” Really did I allow basically a false premise to rule my life? You see, you were born to create things, a life you always wanted, not regurgitate over and over the same experiences, living in a past. We are born to be inspired, to inspire others, and to create new experiences. And anything less, is not GODs will or yours for that matter.

Maybe, just maybe you should stop thinking so much and just leap. Because the truth is, at the end of your life, you will come to realize that every single leap in faith was never the wrong one. It was the exact thing you needed for that place and time. The art of any inspiration is, just get out of your own darn way!
