Inspiration ~ The Art of Finding Your Path!

It’s what I did not do, rather than what I did; that I most regret! The #1 statement elderly adults make when asked. If only? If only I could go back and do it all over again. If only I knew then what I know now. If only I would be able to go back and do the things I once procrastinated about and even totally put off? You see, sooner of later, procrastination will catch up with you! Putting off anything, only in the end begets regret. So why do we do it? Why do we put off anything? Fear! Fear of loss, fear of conflict or resistance, fear of the unwanted result; mostly of what we fabricated. The next question is then, “Why do we fear?” And why is that fear gone as we see the end near? Why?

Inspiration! Or lack there of is the answer. There’s a huge difference between being motivated and being inspired. Inspiration knows no fear. How is that? Being inspired to do something comes from the soul, the gut feeling. It knows no fear, no condemnation, no judgement. All the soul knows is True North. On the contrary, motivation comes from the heart and mind; which is the gate keepers to everything. Your heart and mind allows every thought, every perspective in, giving way to debate, conflict and strife to manifest. So how can we live a life full of inspiration and a life ending in so many regrets?

Inspiration finds you, you don’t find it. Motivation you find, that’s why it only lasts a short period of time. Inspiration is found in the quietness of the soul, the down time of life. Inspiration is all over the place, hidden in every nook, cranny, persons, and places around you each and every day. Inspiration begets Joy, Peace, Contentment, Unconditional Love, on the other hand, procrastination avoids all of what inspiration offers. You want to be inspired in life, learn to listen and look. If you do those two, the leaping is automatic. And living an automatic life verses one with the brakes on all the time is much more for filling. Procrastination….the mother of all regrets. Inspiration…. the father of all begets!
